Flood Survivor Gatherings
Community Sessions, led by Anissa Gardner Walz, LMLP
Anyone that experiences a disaster, like the Osawatomie flood, is touched by its effects. Surviving the flood and working through the after math is stressful. Over time, the stress can lead to feelings of anger, frustration, or sadness. In some cases, it results in mood swings, short temper, or difficulty balancing everyday life.
People are invited to come discuss their flood experiences, how they are doing now, and what possibilities the future holds.
These sessions are provided free of charge,
as a community service to the adults of Osawatomie.
